This family-owned company was founded in 1975 by Thea and Peter Smolka, and operated as “All-Around Travel, Inc.”
Smolka Tours was formed as a division of the company, after group tours for performing groups (choirs, bands and orchestras) were offered starting in 1978.
The company was purchased in March 1995 by Doris Percht Clark, a native Austrian with roots in tourism and travel, and Douglas Clark, the current owners.
Since then, Smolka Tours, Inc. has been providing high quality, personalized tour and travel services, to both Travel Agents and directly to Group and Individual customers.
The CEO speaks 5 languages and has traveled extensively throughout Europe. She, as well as the members of the Smolka Tours Team, are trained regularly on familiarization tours offered in destination countries, as well as via webinars, at trade shows and seminars.
Our service goes far beyond basic travel arrangements. We develop custom itineraries for Groups and Individual Travelers.
